CFD Analysis

In partnership with the UK’s leading independent experts on Thermo- fluid modeling, PVE is able to undertake design, risk assessment, expert witness, engineering analysis and research
using the latest Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) techniques.

Our team has an established capability in the use of CFD to model fire and smoke spread, and we offer a professional and cost-effective service in support of design or assessment.

Our project experience encompasses ventilation of hazardous areas, fire detection; smoke control and fire fighting (including sprinklers and water mist). Our CFD modeling experience in the field of fire engineering complement our risk analysis and safety engineering skills in the same area.

Furthermore, our partners have applied CFD to the design, optimisation and validation of ventilation systems. CFD simulations can provide a useful alternative for analyzing car park ventilation systems where physical testing may be too expensive or time-consuming.
